Mister Eckhart (2.40) would be better suited by softer ground in the
Albert Bartlett and I reckon this looks likely to go to Ireland through
either Boston Bob or Mount Benbulben.
Despite the way the week has gone – I had another second on Thursday with the
heroic Albertas Run – I will be quite optimistic of getting one on the board
with Kid Cassidy (5.15) in the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual.
I have a real soft spot for this six-year-old, who was one of the horses
electrocuted in the paddock at Newbury 13 months ago.
He’s not a bad horse and he might settle a bit better here because they are
sure to go a million miles an hour. We came here instead of taking on
Sprinter Sacre in the Arkle. I like him and, given a clear round, he could
just be my best chance all week.
