Two tries from wing David Doherty helped Cornish Pirates to a 36-30 win at
Esher which denied the bottom club only their second win of the season.

Esher led 19-0 at one stage but the Pirates’ fightback included a try from
teenage fly-half Aaron Penberthy on his first league start and the winner
from Doherty’s, his 13th of the season, seven minutes from time.

Moseley collected a try bonus point for the second consecutive week but still
went down 40-31 at Rotherham.

Two first half tries from hooker Dan Baines helped Rotherham into a commanding
33-17 lead which almost disappeared when Moseley scored two converted tries
in ten second half minutes.

A 72nd minute try from flanker Sam Dickinson saw Rotherham home.
